With ski season right around the corner, we fired off a set of questions to various park managers to see what they had to say about changes happening in the 2010/2011 season.

Is the park going to be same location this year?

So far, we are not planing any major changes in the layout and plan on using the same trailers for our parks.

Any new features you want to implement? How will you keep the park fresh for the locals?

Nope, it’s generally going to stay the same as it has been the past few years. We’ll obviously be change the way things are setup as often as we can in order to satisfy the riders.

Can we expect a half pipe this year?

The halfpipe isn’t going to happen until they build new infrastructure (a new run and specific snowmaking equipment) on the Southside. The pipe on the Northside is a bad location because of the wind and cold, which cause the pipe to be very icy, so it doesn’t get much use.

This way they have more time and money to focus on making the features get used even better.

Any cool events we should mark on our calendars?

Opening day is November 25th, then we have the 24 hours of Tremblant that starts December 10th.

When can we expect the park to be up and running?

The North park will have a ton of features on opening day. It’s looking like everything else will open mid-December on the Northside and late January for The Southside.

Anything you’d like to add?
