Tucked high in BC’s Okanagan Valley, Big White Ski Resort—affectionately known as “Biggie”—is the undisputed snowfall champion of the region. With an average of over 7.5 meters of pow every season, this is where dreams of deep turns and endless face shots become reality.
Big White Snowfall
With its position perfectly placed to catch storms rolling through the valley, the resort delivers some of the best snow conditions in the Okanagan. Their powder is the stuff of winter folklore—light, dry, and endless. With over 2,700 acres of skiable terrain and 119 runs, there’s no shortage of places to get after it. From easygoing cruisers to the gut-check steeps of The Cliff, every kind of skier and rider can carve out their own adventure here.
Biggie also has night skiing if you woke up too late in the day from partying the night before. Two of the chairlift networks stay lit, great for nighttime park laps.
Telus Terrain Park
Big White’s Telus Park is a terrain park playground for all levels, with jumps, rails, and features. It is meticulously maintained and the best part? You can ski it at night. With the lights on, the park transforms, offering a fresh vibe to keep the fun going after dark.
Big Time Après in the Village
Big White’s village is the stuff of storybooks—car-free, snow-covered, and buzzing with energy. When the lifts close, Big White’s nightlife takes over. Think torchlight parades, fireworks, and the legendary parties at Snowshoe Sam’s. It is definitely easy to get carried away in the Big White village, there are plenty of parties and even a Winter Music Festival on April 4th-5th
Getting Here
Big White is just an hour from Kelowna International Airport, with shuttles that whisk you straight to the mountain. But fair warning—once you’re here, leaving is the hardest part. Each powder turn, every après moment, and the village vibe make it harder to say goodbye. Plan your trip and see why “No Biggie” is the understatement of the season.
