Way back in 1877, Norwegian captain Helly Juell Hansen set out to protect his sailors from brutal Nordic weather, coating cotton canvas with linseed oil to create weather resistant, waterproof gear. He and his wife Margarethe turned that breakthrough into a small workshop in Moss, Norway, earning an award at the 1878 World Expo.

Today, that same drive for innovation fuels Helly Hansen’s cutting-edge ski gear that looks great at Apres ski. Check out a few of their pieces from the 2025/26 catalogue.
