SCOUTED: searching for talent across the country and featuring stand out skiers one at a time. In this edition of Scout, we catch up with Dylan Deschamps.
Bio: My name is Dylan Deschamps. I am a young skier, seventeen years old on the Quebec slopestyle team. Starting four years ago, I use all my free time for training. My goal for the future is to win the X Games and the Olympic games. Last Winter, I had the chance to finish third place at Aspen Open slopestyle which is one of the biggest competitions in North America. For this season, as plan, I will film many videos and I’ll do my best to get as far as possible in the competition circuit if it’s possible because of the COVID-19.

SBC: How would you describe your signature style?
DD: I think I can describe it as a unique style with some tricks that are infréquent.
SBC: Goals for the upcoming season?
DD: Making video and get good result in my competition.
SBC: What progression have you seen in yourself?
DD: I training a lot on my style and my grabs to be a better skier.
SBC: What do you think is trending in ski culture that shouldn’t be?
DD: I think that the trend of the ski should be more about the style.
SBC: What are you crushing on your playlist?
DD: I listen a lot to Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black.
SBC: How are you cross-training these days?
DD: Because of the COVID-19, it’s hard to find places to train but I try my best to go to the gym and do some trampoline work to stay in shape.
