Coming at us with his own edit, Los Amigo’s member Axel Runner had a short but notable season and there’s video evidence to prove it. Enjoy his 19/20 edit and learn a bit more about the guy – he’s a good one!

Los Amigos is a Whistler local crew made of a group of friends who met through school and skiing. They make the most out of their winters by skiing the inbounds of Whistler Blackcomb, traveling to nearby ski resorts in BC, getting out on their sleds in the backcountry, and gathering footage along the way.

Throughout the years, Los Amigos has delivered different edits focusing on different styles of riding. After their big win at last year’s WSSF Intersection video contest, Los Amigos has remained focused on producing content.

The 2020 season posed a bit of a challenge. With high avalanche risk early season and resorts closing mid-March, Los Amigos was short for time but still managed to make the most of it by skiing and filming as much as possible when conditions were good.

Axel Runner has been part of Los Amigos all along and has continued to ski and push the limits for what is possible inbounds at Whistler. Keeping off the freestyle and tricks a bit more this season and focusing more on freeride, Axel, pushed his limits this season by seeking out rarely attempted drops at Whistler and building up to some of the most sizeable cliffs inbounds.
