Mont Sutton has been on a serious upswing these past few years. Beyond its shift to full four-season operations, the mountain has delivered upgrades across every corner of the resort: refreshed spaces in the main chalet, expanded snowmaking with new guns and piping, a boosted pumping system, upgraded groomers, and a major push toward sustainability. Recent improvements include a switch from heating oil to propane, the installation of a bi-energy electric boiler, universal EV charging stations, and more efficient snowmaking gear.

Bigger, Better, and Even More Reliable This Winter
The momentum isn’t slowing down. This season, Mont Sutton is adding a brand-new Bison X Winch Stage V groomer, a Prinoth Husky tiller for the Sno-Cat 2000, and additional rolling equipment — a combined investment of $725,000 — plus a TechnoAlpin fixed tower fan currently on demo. These additions boost snow quality, grooming consistency, and overall on-mountain reliability.

More Events, New Trails, and a Better Guest Experience
On the experience side, visitors can look forward to:
- More events on the new outdoor bar-terrace at Bar Le Tucker
- A new alpine touring trail
- Expanded adult ski lessons
- A brand-new ski geocaching course
- Two new large-scale outdoor sculptures: a red-tailed hawk and Sut & Ton, the raccoons with their snowboard
With each addition, Mont Sutton continues to transform into an open-air mountain gallery.

Joining the Indy Pass Collective
Another big move: Mont Sutton is joining the Indy Pass collective this season, bringing Eastern Townships skiing to an even bigger audience. And until November 21, guests can even personalize a character in the Wonderland Forest with their name — a unique, early-season perk.
A New Quad Chairlift and a Major Development Phase
The headline news? Mont Sutton has officially confirmed a brand-new quad chairlift for the 2026–2027 season. This kicks off a major new era of development that plans to include:
- Four-season glamping units near Chair V
- Additional resort enhancements to support growing four-season demand

Nearly $11 Million in Growth
All told, Mont Sutton is looking at nearly $11 million in new investments — including the largest single project in its 65-year history. Big things are happening on the mountain, and the next few years are shaping up to be some of the most exciting in Sutton’s evolution.
