Natural Selection Ski is kicking off the 2026 season with its inaugural Super Session at Palisades Tahoe, featuring eight of the world’s top freeride and freestyle skiers. The event premieres March 17 on Red Bull TV, giving fans exclusive access to the opening stage of the 2026 Natural Selection Ski Tour.
Selected by the all-star Natural Selection Ski Advisory Council, which includes legends like Chris Benchetler, Michelle Parker, Markus Eder, Mike Douglas, Candide Thovex, Sammy Carlson, and Kristi Leskinen, these athletes are competing for a chance to earn a spot at the YETI Natural Selection Alaska Finals. Top finishers from last year automatically qualified, with additional wildcards available through the Super Session.
2026 Palisades Tahoe Super Session Athlete Lineup
Women:
- Elisabeth Gerritzen (SUI): Freeride World Tour Champion known for fluid, smart skiing in technical terrain.
- Indy Boyer (USA): Tahoe local with a fresh freestyle approach to big-mountain lines.
- Ana Eyssimont (USA): Reigning Queen of Corbet’s and veteran of high-profile ski films.
- Hannah Epsteyn (USA): Youngest competitor and 2025 Freeride World Tour Junior Champion, leveraging her Palisades Tahoe home advantage.
Men:
- Teal Harle (CAN): 2x Olympian and X Games medalist blending freestyle skills into backcountry terrain.
- Connery Lundin (USA): Veteran freeride champion and Palisades local with unmatched knowledge of the terrain.
- Jonah Williams (USA): Powder Mountain-based skier known for creativity and technical mastery.
- Parkin Costain (USA): Montana-native and acclaimed for standout ski film performances, 2025 IF3 “Male Skier of the Year” finalist.

About the Super Session Format
Natural Selection Ski Super Sessions emphasize collaboration, progression, and creativity. Riders interpret Palisades Tahoe’s steep faces, cliffs, and natural transitions in their own style. The top man and woman from the Super Session will automatically qualify for the Alaska Finals, premiering in April 2026 on Red Bull TV. Second-place finishers may be named as alternates.
Palisades Tahoe, a historic hub of freeride skiing, offers ideal terrain for the debut Super Session. Its challenging slopes and deep Sierra snowpacks reward innovative skiing, making it a perfect launch point for the 2026 tour.
