Talk of the town? It’s the talk of the whole snowy country! Calgary Alberta is making all of us ski-obsessed Canadians proud by signing a three year deal with X Games. Recent host of the Halfpipe Rodeo it seems like Calgary is making moves to encompass more winter extreme sports and we couldn’t be more thrilled – way to make Canada proud!
CALGARY X GAMES
Calgary will be the first Canadian city to host the X Games. Previously the X Games have been held in Aspen, Shanghai, Oslo, and Sydney but never in Canada. We have a lot of talented athletes that travel to this sought after event year after year, it will be a treat to have them competing on home turf.
The event draws crowds over 75,000 yearly so if you’re itching to participate in the first ever Canadain held X Games we’d recommend you lock down some accommodations in Calgary stat and probably secure a Banff detour for some powder after the big event.
