Spring in Whistler means goggle tans, soft turns—and the World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF) firing up the village stage.
Returning April 6–12, 2026, WSSF is celebrating 30 years of mountain culture with a stacked week of competitions, art, film and nightlife. But one of the biggest traditions remains the Outdoor Live Music Series, where the après crowd rolls straight from the lifts into free slope-side concerts at the base of Whistler Mountain.
The music runs April 9–12 and spans everything from indie and electronic to hip-hop and reggae.
Thursday kicks things off with Whistler-based alternative R&B artist ZADA, followed by Squamish psych-surf duo Surf Hat.
Friday turns the village into a dance floor when Canadian favourites The Funk Hunters take over the decks, with Vancouver producer Vandelux keeping the energy going. Vandelux will also spin during the always-chaotic Slush Cup on Blackcomb later in the weekend.

Saturday is all about Canadian hip-hop, with legendary Toronto MC Maestro Fresh Wes sharing the stage with Snotty Nose Rez Kids, the Kitamaat Village duo known for their sharp lyrics and explosive live shows.
The weekend wraps Sunday with reggae vibes from Jah Cutta, before Bedouin Soundclash closes things out.
If history’s any indication, expect ski boots in the crowd, beers in the air, and a packed village lawn.
